Choosing the Right Types of Bangs

If you are thinking about having bangs cut into your hair, you should consider how thick your hair is and what shape your face is.

Blunt bangs are the bangs that are cut straight across your forehead. Most blunt bangs will stop at or around eyebrow length, although some people like to keep them a little bit longer than this for a more severe look.

Blunt bangs are great for drawing attention to your eyes and framing your face. If you have thinner hair you may have wispier blunt bangs, which look a little softer. If you have thicker hair and do not want to look to seem too severe, then you may be able to get your stylist to thin your hair out a little bit. Curling the bottom of your blunt bangs under slightly can also soften your look and create a beautiful retro style.
